The Garden with a Palace Past

Open today from 7:30am to 8:45pm, the Luxembourg Garden in Paris is one of Europe’s most stunning green spaces, voted the continent’s most beautiful garden. In 2022, it welcomed over 6 million visitors. Spread across 25 hectares, it features formal French and English gardens, 3,000 trees, 5,000 m² of flower beds, and a historic orchard with 500 varieties of pears and apples. Highlights include the famous Médicis Fountain and over 100 statues. With eco-friendly gardening and waste sorting, the garden is as sustainable as it is scenic. Visitors can also enjoy horticulture courses, an apiary school, and cultural exhibitions throughout the year
